OPERATION

When a call is placed on the system, all associated signals activate including the station call placed indicator and corridor Dome Light. At the Nurse Master Station, the calling station LED and call placed indicators illuminate and the alert tone sounds at the rate corresponding to the priority level of the call. The Nurse Master Station’s LCD will display the four highest priority calls in full English. Zone Lights and Duty Stations will activate to display the priority level of the call.  At a preprogrammed time each day, a Check-In indicator flashes on all designated room stations.  All residents must Check-In by depressing a button on any calling station in the room within the preprogrammed time interval.  Room numbers of residents who fail to check in will be displayed at the Nurse Master Station so the attendant may go to the room to cancel the call and verify the well-being of the resident.
